As a busy stay at home mom, I have always loved monogrammed and personalized items for myself, my husband, my kids, and for gifts. I think it just adds a bit of a personal touch to take the extra time to buy someone a gift that shows that you put some thought into it.
Whether its, a day at the beach or a birthday party, I think my kids always look a little bit better when they wear a monogrammed dress or shirt, or I send a monogrammed note as a thank you for some special good deed a friend did for me.
That's why I created The Pink Mockingbird, just a place you can go and get all those special personalized touches for yourself and for gift-giving, a little lagniappe if you will, a little something extra.
It takes me back to the Old South when stationery was engraved, handkerchiefs were monogrammed, men opened doors for women, and occasions were lavishly celebrated with the good china and silver and fresh flowers from the garden.
